He was a meat inspector for the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and a member of Whitehall United Pentecostal Church. He was born December 14, 1929 at Trout to the union of Bryant and Bessie Edison Rosier. Services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 19, at Whitehall United Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Joey Paul and Larry Chapman officiating. Burial followed in the Belah Cemetery of Belah under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include his wife, Lucy Roaier of Trout; one daughter, Janice Bird of Pineville; one son, James "Bubba" Rosier of Jena; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Clovis Gibson, Buddy Brian, Pete Coon, Roy Barnhill, Lester Warwick and Tony Westbrooks. Honorary pallbearers were Huey Reeves, Leslie Breithaupt, and Virgil Smith.
