Effie Rodgers

Mrs. Effie H. Rodgers, 88, of Urania, died on Christmas Eve at Hardtner
Medical Center of Urania. She was a housewife and member of the Baptist
Church.

Funeral services were held on December 25th at 11 a.m. at the Urania Baptist
Church with the pastor, Rev. Jack Baucum, officiating.

Interment at Pine Hill Cemetery of Urania, with arrangements by Kinner and
Stevens Inc. of Jena.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Eunice Foshee of Urania, Mrs. Joyce
Walker of West Monroe and Mrs. Lois McNalley of Vinton; two sons, Thomas
Rodgers of West Monroe and Quinton Rodgers of Urania; 20 grandchildren and 21
great-grandchildren.
