Mattie Elizabeth Roark

Mattie Elizabeth Roark, 98, of Jena, died at 10:45 a.m. Monday, February 5,
1990, at the LaSalle Nursing Home.

She was a housewife.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the chaple of Hixson Brother Inc.
of Jena with the Revs. Mickey Hudnall and Johnny Barnhill, officiating.

Burial followed in Aimoch Cemetery of Summerville under direction of Hixson
Brothers Inc. of Jena.

Survivors include two sons, N.J. Roark of Jena and Ellis H. Roark of Houston,
Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Sam Hodges of Olla; 24 grandchildren; 64 great-
grandchildren; and 47 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Donnie Richardson, Charles Poole, Rayford Roark, Kenneth
Roark, Jimmy Roark and Clifford Poole.
