He was a retired employee with the LaSalle Parish Police Jury and a U.S. Army Veteran having served in World War II. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena, with the Revs. S.B. Spinks and Bill Robertson officiating. He is survived by two nieces and four nephews. Pallbearers were James "Butch" Neal, J.E. Rosier, Sr., Glenn Ganey, Ray Arnold, Jamie Arnold and Phillip Postlewait.
