He was born in Jonesboro on October 17, 1947. He was a load operator with Ark-La-Miss Timber Company for 12 years and a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Jena. Services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 26, at the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Olla with the Revs. Ricky Nugent and Donnie Boney officiating. Interment followed in the Olla Cemetery of Olla under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Duchesne Ramsey of Olla; a son and daughter-in-law, Samuel Jessie, Sr. and Jennifer B. Ramsey of Kelly; a son, Brandon Johnson-Ramsey of Olla; a daughter, Melissa Dawn Ramsey of Olla; his daughters and sons-in-law, Susie and Tracy Beamesderfer oif Chatham and Misty and Chris Hartley of Chatham; his parents, Jesse and Obelene Davis Ramsey of Olla; his sister, Judy Richey of Olla; nine grandchidlren and a special niece, Lindsy Laszlo of Olla. Date: April 29, 1955 Headline: Mrs. Cordelia Ratcliff Of Olla Buried Sunday Mrs. Cordelia Jane Ratcliff, 90, of Olla, who died last Saturday, was buried at 3 p.m. Sunday at Harris Chapel cemetery following rites held at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist church. Mrs. Ratcliff is survived by three daughters, Mrs. O. T. Bass of Jonesville, MRs. E. H. Kirkham of Shreveport; two sons, Vanna and Ova of Olla and the Rev. T. J. Ratcliff of Jena; 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The Revs. Kenneth Wall and of Olla and Mrs.Mrs. Vanda Jewell Henry McMunth conducted funeral services for Mrs. Ratcliff. A lifelong resident of LaSalle parish, Mrs. Ray is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Allen of Nebo route, Mrs. Myma Horn of Shreveport, Mrs. Roby Clarkston of Pineville and Mrs. Mary Lou Duke of Route 1, Trout; two sons,Jiml. and John Claude, both of Nebo route; one brother, Will Paul of Nebo route; two sisters, Mrs. Susie Allen of Nebo route and MRs. Pinkie Edwards of Jena 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The rev. Kenneth F.
