Obituary:  Harold Allen Ramsey
December 26, 2003

Services for Harold Allen Ramsey, age 56, of Olla will be
held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 26, 2003 from the chapel of
Riser Funeral Home in Olla with Rev. Ricky Nugent and
Rev. Donnie Boney officiating.  Interment will follow in the
Olla Cemetery in Olla.

Mr. Ramsey was born in Jonesboro on October 17, 1947
and died Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at his residence in Olla.

He was a load operator with Ark-La-Miss Timber Co.
for twelve years and a member of the First United Pentecostal
Church in Jena.

Survivors include his wife: Brenda Duchesne Ramsey of
Olla, his son and daughter-in-law: Samuel Jessie, Sr.  and
Jennifer B. Ramsey of Kelly, his son: Brandon Johnson-
Ramsey of Olla, his daughter: Melissa Dawn Ramsey of
Olla, his daughters and sons-in-law: Susie and Tracy Beamesderfer
of Chatham and Misty and Chris Hartley of Chatham,
his parents: Jesse and Obelene Davis Ramsey of Olla, his
sister: Judy Richey of Olla, nine grandchildren and a special
niece: Lindsy Laszlo of Olla.

Pallbearers will be David King, Joey King, Johnny
Wayne Gilliam, Ernest Ramsey, Everett Ramsey and Randall [Hoppie]
Thames.

Honorary pallbearers are Micheal Cupples and Samuel
[Pee Wee] Jessie Ramsey.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and
Friday from 8 a.m. until time of services at Riser Funeral
Home, Hwy 165, Olla, La.

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MR. CHARLES LUTHER "GUBE" RANDALL, AGE 87 OF JENA
WILL BE HELD 2PM SUNDAY SEPT. 14, 2003 FROM THE NEW LIFE PENTECOSTAL CHURCH,
MANIFEST, LA. WITH THE REV. DAVID POOLE OFFICIATING. INTERMENT WILL FOLLOW
IN THE RANDALL CEMETERY AT AIMWELL. SERVICES ARE UNDER DIRECTION OF RISER
FUNERAL HOME OF COLUMBIA.

GUBE RANDALL WAS BORN ON  NOVEMBER 13,1915 IN CATAHOULA PARISH TO THE UNION
OF HIS PARENTS THE LATE JIM & EMMA POOLE RANDALL. HE PASSED FROM THIS LIFE
ON SAT. SEPT. 13, 2003 AT THE LASALLE GENERAL HOSPITAL IN JENA. HE WAS A
RETIRED LOGGER, A MEMBER OF THE AIMWELL PENT. CHURCH AND WAS PRECEDED IN
DEATH BY HIS WIFE MYRTLE ETHEL RANDALL.

SURVIVORS INCLUDE: 4 SONS: CHARLES QUINTON RANDALL, MANIFEST. ALBERT RAY
RANDALL, JIMMY LEE RANDALL, J.E. RANDALL ALL OF AIMWELL 9 DAUGHTERS: SUE
POSEY & OMEGA COTTEN, BOTH OF AIMWELL. FRANCIS ASHLEY, WINNSBORO; MARY
MABOU, OLLA; MELBA TANT, SLIDELL; IRMA BRADFORD,JENA; ELOYSE MC LENDON,
MANIFEST; KATHLEEN GRICE, JENA; AND LOLA BERRY JENA. BROTHER: CALVIN
COOLIDGE RANDALL, AIMWELL AND A SISTER JUANITA BERRY, OF JENA. 50
GRANDCHILDREN, 59 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN, AND 12 GREAT GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN.

VISITATION FOR SUNDAY WILL BE AT THE NEW LIFE PENTECOSTAL CHURCH FROM 8AM
UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE AT THE CHURCH, HWY126, MANIFEST, LA.
