Services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, January 5, at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Basile with burial at Reed Cemetery in T-Mamou. Surviors in addition to his parents include two brotehrs, Jevin Reed and Jace Reed; his paternal grandparents, Carol Green of Eunice and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Reed of Basile; his maternal honorary grandfather, Steve McGee, and his godmother, Carla Ann Reed. Date: April 8, 1955 Headline: Mrs. Caroline Reeves Buried at Pine Grove Mrs. Caroline Reeves, 64, who died Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, MRs. Frank Davis at Whitehall, was buried Wednesday afternoon, with services conducted by the Rev. Mack Davidson at Pine Grove Baptist church. Mrs. Reeves, a member of the Pentecostal church is survived by her husband, Joe Reeves; three daughters, Mrs. Elsie Stutson of Harrisonburg, Mrs. Hattie Francis of Archie and Mrs. Marie Davis of Rhinehart; five sons, Tom of Archie, Milton of Nebo, Willie of New Orleans and Ernest and Huey of Rhinehart; one brother, Morris Paul of Rhinehart, and a sister, Mrs. Jim Bradford of Walters; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was a retired custodian and member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II. He was born Nov. 6, 1922, at Archie to the union of Joseph and Caroline Paul Reeves. Services will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Gary Waggoner, Joey Paul and Tony Robinson, officiating. Interment will follow in the Alexander Cemetery of Rhinehart under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.
