FINAL RITES HELD FOR BEN SPRINGER

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternon from the Hixson Brothers
funeral chapel for Mr. Ben R. Springer, 63, of Pineville, who died Monday
at the family residence. Interment was in the Eden cemetery. The Rev. E. A.
Keasler, pastor of the Trout Methodist church, assisted by the Rev. G. W.
Reppond, pastor of the Goodpine Baptist church, conducted the service.

Mr. Springer is survived by his wife, a son, Bill Springer of Jena, and seven
daughters, Mrs. Grace Calwell of Illinois, Mrs. Pauline Kelly of Jena, Mrs.
Johnnie White of Odessa, Tex., Mrs. Helen Whatley of Houston, Mrs. Mary
huber of Illinois, Miss Jo Ann Springer and Miss Romena Springer, both of
Rodessa, La.
