SANDERS, Mason Reo

 Mason Reo Sanders, 17 month-old son of Crystal and Bryain Mark Sanders of
Olla, died at 10:21 a.m. Tuesday morning, February 24, 1998, in LSU Medical
Center in Shreveport following a drowning accident near Olla.

 Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27 in Standard Baptist Church near
Olla with the Revs. Scotty McDowell and Troy Cockerham officiating.

 Interment followed in the Hawthorne Cemetery under direction of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

 Survivors in addition to his parents include one sister, Amber LeAnn Lyons of
Olla; two brothers, Michael James Lyons II and Dusty Lee Lyons, both of Olla;
maternal grandmother, Isabell Snody of Olla; paternal grandfather, Johnnie
sanders of Belle Chase; maternal grea-grandparents, Lena and Joseph Martin of
Olla; and paternal great-grandmother, Leander Nugent of Pollock.

 Pallbearers were Jimmy Barron, Alvie Snody, Gary Cheek and Steven Wall.
