SIMMONS, Eddie Irene

 Mrs. Eddie Irene Simmons, 82, of Zenoria, died last Sunday, January 13, 1974
at the LaSalle General Hospital.

 Funeral services were held Monday at the Zenoria Baptist Church with Rev.
Leslie McCartney, officiating.

 Interment followed at the Chalk Hill Cemetery near Zenoria under direction
of Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena.

 Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mae Mapes of Lafayette and Mrs. 
Charlotte Black of Livingston; five sons, Ralph Simmons, Bill Simmons, Woody
Simmons and Albert Simmons, all of Trout, and Lannie Simmons of Arkansas;
two brothers, Ben Stringer and Jims Stringer, both of Trout; two sisters,
Mrs. Lula Ganey and Mrs. Fannie Ganey, both of Trout; 16 grandchildren and
33 great-grandchildren.
