SANDERS, Alsie Ellen

  74, of Lafayette, died Monday, August 25, 1997 at the Lafayette General
Hospital of Lafayette.

  She was a homemaker.

  Graveside services were held Saturday, August 30, 1997 at Beech Creek
Cemetery in Winn Parish with Rev. Alban Poole Officiating.

  Survivors include one daughter, Glenda Sanders Schneider of Stockton,
Calif.; two sons, Billy Sanders of Shreveport and Jackie Dave Sanders of Pine
Bluff, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
