Bijou "Aunt Bea" Snoody

Bijou Edwina Recoulley "Aunt Bea" Snoddy, 89, of Baton Rouge and formerly of
Olla, died at 7:15 p.m., Tuesday, June 16, 1998, at the Baton Rouge General
Hospital.

Aunt Bea was born at Effie on September 17, 1908. She is a native of olla and
a 16 year resident of Baton Rouge.

Services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 19, from the chapel of Riser
Funeral Home in Olla with Rev. Dave Smith officiating.

Interment followed in thee Chickasaw Cemetery near Olla under direction of
Riser Funeral Home of Olla.

Survivors include one son, Jack Snoddy of Reserve; three daughters, Cecile
Snoddy Lorino and Sylvia Snoddy D'Angelo, both of Phoenix, Ariz., and Sher
Snoddy Creel of Baton Rouge; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
