She was a homemaker and a member of the Whitehall Pentecostal Church. Services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 6, at Whitehall Pentecostal Church of Rhinehart with the Revs. Joey Paul, Crawford Coon, Everett Mayo, Larry Wolfe, and Larry Chapman officiating. Burial followed in Pine Grove Cemetery of Rhinehart under direction of hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include her husband, Virgil Smith of Jena; one brother, R. B. Curtis of Trout. Pallbearers were Huey Reeves, John Bailey, Lester Warwick, Tony Westbrooks, Clovis Gibson and Morris Edwards, Jr. Honorary pallbearers were J. E. Rosier, Leslie Breithaupt, and Junior Breithaupt.
