Worth, died at Tyler Nursing Home on Wednesday, November 25, 1998. He was a retired letter carrier and member of the Tyler Metro Church. He served in the U.S. Army from 1940 to 1945 as a Tech Sergeant and received several ribbons and awards. Services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 28, at Tyler Metro Church with Dr. Jerry Phelps officiating. Burial followed at the Jena Cemetery under direction of Hilliard Funeral Home of Tyler. Survivors include his wife, Frances Stevens of Tyler; one daughter, Linda Davis of Dallas, Tx.; two brothers, Joe Paul Stevens and Harold Stevens, both of Jena; one sister, Rose Marie Hemphill of Olla; and one grandchild. Memorials may be made to Tyler Metro Church in Tyler, Texas.
