She was an agent for Family Services of Louisiana and a member of the Eden Methodist Church. She was born August 5, 1934, at Belah, to the union of Clyde and Lena Windham. Services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 25, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Finas Corie and Dan Davis officiating. Interment followed in the Belah Cemetery of Trout under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc., of Jena. Survivors include three daughters, Caren Raith of Thornton, Pa., Pat Ganey of Nebo and Jeanine Mulvilhill of Whitehall; two sons, Henry Stringer, Jr. of Belah and Jon E. Stringer of Nebo; two sisters, Doris Morrow of Minden and Iva Parker of Jena; two brothers, Doyle Windham of Belah and Harold Windham of Jena; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Eddie Raith, Eddie Raith, III, Kevin Windham, Todd Windham, Rickey Windham, and Alan Wiggins. Honorary pallbearers were Alex Stringer, William Stringer, Michael Raith, Justin Ganey, Chris Stringer, Logan Stringer, Danny Deville, Cody Pritchard, and Robbie Note.
