She was a retired school teacher. Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Beaubeouf and Rev. Donald Lemmons officiating. Burial followed at Tidwell Cemetery of Nebo with arrangements by Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena. Survivors include her husband, Paul Strozier of Nebo; two daughters, Minnie Lively of Port Allen and Mrs. Louise Flake of Minden; a brother, Rufus Kelly of Searcy, Ark.; a sister, Mildred Holloday of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jack Sexton, Junior Hudspeth, Harvey hudnall, L. C. Coon, Dave Hudspeth, and Henry Adams.
