Rita A. Steele

Rita A. Steele, 70, of Jena, died at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 1990, at the
St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.

She was a homemaker.

Services were held at 3 p.m. Monday at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens
Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Dan Parker, officiating.

Interment followed at Graham Cemetery of Nebo under arrangements by Kinner and
Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Steele of Jena; one son, Max Parker of
Jena; two sisters, Ruth Laversphere of Tioga and Joan Drew of Leesville; five
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Dub Stapleton, David Bradford, Douglas Keene, hardy Huffman,
Richard Mitchell and J.W. Nix.
