Stephenson, 87, of Jena, died at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 1990 at LaSalle General Hospital of Jena. She was a housewife, member of the First Baptist Church of Jena and member of Eastern Star Ruby Chapter No. 72 of Jena. He was the widow of Ralph Stephenson, former president of the LaSalle State Bank of Jena. Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena with Dr. R.C. Hammock and Rev. K.G. Brooks, officiating. Burial followed at Nolley memorial Cemetery of Jena under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include three sons, Ralph W. Stephenson of Baton Rouge, Kenneth R. Stephenson of Jena and Paul B. Stephenson of Ruston; a brother, Bernard F. Poland of Jena; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Clinton Lassiter, Daniel S. Lassiter, David L. Lassiter, John C. Poland, Paul R. Stephenson and Shep Poland.
