Smith William Allen Smith, 32, of Carthage, Texas, and a native of Olla, died in Carthage on Wednesday, February 13, 1991 from injuries received in an oilfield accident. He was a crew pusher with Bo Gray Industries Inc. in Carthage. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia with Rev. Joel Johnson, officiating. Interment followed in Tidwell Cemetery near Kelly under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Rose Smith of Carthage; a son, Bradley Smith of Carthage; his parents, Emery E. and Mavis Smith of Olla; and a sister, Betty Lawless of Alexandria. Pallbearers were Scott Baxter, David Carroll, Lamar Coon, Curtis deville, David Yule and John Bannister.
