Stott Sr., 81, of Olla, died Thursday, February 21, 1991, in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. He was a retired logging contractor with Louisiana Pacific Baptist Church in Olla. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church in Olla with the revs. Everett Geis and Burley Cader, officiating. Burial followed in Olla Cemetery under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Steen Stott of Olla; two sons, Norman E. Stott, Jr., of Fredericksburg, Va., and Bobbie R. Stott of Olla; one daughter, Brenda Stott of Olla; one brother, the Rev. Burley Cader of Cleveland, Tenn.; one sister, Jewell Evans of Monroe; eight grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. Pallbearers were Blake Sims, M.L. Barksdale, Kenneth Winberry, Buddy Harris, Carlton King, Bob Allbritton, D.L. McDougald and Jerry McDougald.
