Mrs. Belle E. Stevenson
Mrs. Belle Elizabeth Stevenson, 81, of Jena, died Sunday at the
Catahoula Parish Hospital in Jonesville.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bellevue Baptist
Church in Jena with Revs. Larry Lanier, Willard Sandiferd and Oliver
Dean officiating.
Burial followed in the Bethel Cemetery of Deville under direction of
Hixson Brothers of Jena.
Survivors include: three daughters, Mrs. Martha Crooks of Wildsville, 
Mrs. Barbara Huffman and Mrs. Dora Boone, both of Jena; four sons, 
Martin Stevenson of Vidalia; Ollie Stevenson of Walters, Melvin
Stevenson of Jena and Walter Stevenson of Seattle, Wash.; two sisters,
Mrs. Lillie Corley of Mansfield and Mrs. Lora Wiggins of Deville; 29 
grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Larry Champion, Doyle Stevenson, Ronnie Stevenson,
Scotty Stevenson, Lester Huffman and Ellis Crooks.
