Vera E. St. Amant

Vera E. St. Amant, 81, of Jena, died at 11:40 p.m. Thursday, August 20, at the
LaSalle General Hospital of Jena.

She was retired with the State of Louisiana License Bureau, and a member of
the Eastern Star lodge of Baton Rouge.

Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the chapel of Hixson Brothers
Funeral Home with Rev. Cage McLemore officiating.

Burial followed at Olla Cemetery of Olla under direction of Hixson Brothers
inc., of Jena.

Survivors include one brother, Ralph Davidson of San Antonio, Texas.

Pallbearers were G.T. Bud Hinton, Jr., Bob Lurry, Donald Roark, Buddy Harris,
Lee Breithaupt, Jr., and Jim King.

Honorary pallbearers were mason from Lodge No. 138 of Urania.
