Mildred Spinks

Mildred Spinks, 60, of Olla, died at 7:42 a.m. Sunday, August 23, at the E.A.
Conway Medical Center in Monroe.

She was a homemaker and member of the East Jena Baptist Church of Jena.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Hixson Brothers
Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. S.B. Spinks officiating.

Burial followed in the Belah Cemetery of Trout under direction of Hixson
Brothers Inc., of Jena.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Spinks of Olla; one son, Andy McGee of
Shreveport; one daughter, Lisa McGuffee of Monroe; one brother, J.D. Nunnery
of Sely, Texas; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Melvin Whatley, Ed Bearden, Burt Allbritton, Marty Chapman,
Sam Spinks, Bob Garifo and Mike Bradford.
