Funeral Held Saturday For Mrs. Emma Slay

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Cox Slay, 80, of Jena, were held at 10 a.m.
Saturday at the East Jena Baptist Church with Rev. Mickey Bounds officiating.

Burial was in Belah Cemetery of Trout under direction of Kinner and Stevens
Funeral Home of Jena.

Mrs. Slay died Thursday morning in Alexandria. She was a member of the Baptist
Church.

Survivors include two sons, Roscoe Slay of Manifest and Otto Slay, of Jena and
a sister, Mrs. Ida Cox of Jena; seven grandchildren and seven great-
grandchildren.
