Date: February 8, 1962 Headline: Mrs. Lillie Sharp Services Are Held Mrs. Lillie Sharp, 56, of Rhinehart, a lifelong resident of LaSalle Parish, died Saturday, Feb. 3 in a Pineville hospital at 11:50 p.m. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Gayle Dean and the Rev. Joe Cannon officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Grove Cemetery near Rhinehart under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband, Marcus Sharp; one daughter, Mrs. W. J. Ogden of Charleston, S.C.; three sons, Alton Sharp, Huber Sharp, and Monroe Sharp, all of Rhinehart; two brothers, Ruben Kitterlin and John Kitterlin, both of Jena; and 15 grandchildren. Date: December 15, 2004, page 10 A Headline: Robert Lee Shelton Robert Lee SHelton, 60, of Olla, died Monday, December 6, 2004, in Olla. He was employed by Davis Operators. Shelton was born Feb. 9, 1944, at Extension, La. to the union of his parents, the late J. R. and Addie Bowlin Shelton. Services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 9, at the Olla United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Darrell Floyd officiating. Interment followed in the Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla. Sills, 92, died at 1:30 a.m. Friday, May 6, 1988, at the LaSalle Nursing Home of Jena. He was a retired surveyor and a member of the First Baptist Church of Olla. Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. S. B. Spinks officiating. Burial followed in Chickasaw Cemetery near Olla with arrangements by Kinner and Stevens, Inc. He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Steve Sanders, G.T. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Standard Baptist church near Olla with the Rev. Dale Windham officiating, assisted by the Rev. Doris Dearmon. Burial was in Harris Chapel cemetery under direction of Riser and Sons funeral home.
