TINGLE, Homer Andrew

  99, of Trout, died Saturday, August 30, 1997 in LaSalle General Hospital
of Jena.

  He was retired with the Louisiana Forestry Commission after 20 years of
service.

  Services were held Monday, September 1, 1997 in the chapel of Hixson 
Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. S.B. Spinks officiating.

  Interment followed in the Belah Cemetery of Trout under direction of Hixson
Brothers, Inc. of Jena.

  Survivors include two sons, C.W. Tingle and L.F."Red" Tingle, both of
Trout; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-
grandchildren and three step great-great- grandchildren.
