Mammie Ruth Taylor

Mammie Ruth Taylor, 92, of Jena, died at 12:55 p.m., Thursday, September 10,
1998, at the LaSalle General Hospital of Jena.

She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Jena.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, September 14, at Haughton
under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

Officiating at the service were Rev. Albert Vickers and Brother John Taylor of
Jena.

Interment was direction of Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena.

Survivors include two step-daughters, Elaine Taylor of Shreveport and Annie T.
Boyd of Birmingham, Ala.; one step-son, John Taylor, Jr. of Jena; seven step-
grandchildren, 13 step-great-grandchildren and five step-great-great-
grandchildren.
