Mrs. Bessie Thompson
Mrs. Bessie Lee Thompson, 82, of Jena, died at 6:45 a.m. on Thursday, 
Nov. 25, 1982, at the LaSalle General Hospital.
She was a housewife and member of the Mr. Hermon Baptist Church.
Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the chapel of Kinner and
Stevens Inc. of Jena with Rev. P. A. (Fox) Paul officiating.
Burial followed at Pine Grove Cemetery of Rhinehart with arrangements
by Kinner and Stevens Inc. of Jena.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Irene Ezell of Covington; Mrs.
John Paul of Baytown, Texas; Mrs. Daisy Starnes of Bossier City and 
Mrs. Peggy Benson of Jena; two sons, Joe Thompson of Shreveport and 
Wes Thompson of Jena; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jerry Paul, Sherman Paul, Curtis Wayne Thompson, 
Bill Benson, Dale Roark and Will Roark.
