Milton Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Olla Cemetery in Olla under the direction of Riser Funeral Home in Olla. Mr. Talley was born on December 20, 1957 in Olla to the union of Billy Albert and Ann Nethery Talley and died Saturday, February 7, 2004. He was employed as a tool pusher with Poole Drilling Company. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Survivors include his sons: Clayton Kyle Talley and Clinton Nelson Talley both of Abbeville, his parents: Billy and Ann Talley of Olla, his brothers: Joe Bill Talley of Grayson and Jason Talley of Olla and his sister: Tammie Talley Edzards of Dallas, Texas. Pallbearers will be Ricky Tyler, Phillip Higdon, Ben Talley, Derrek Duplissey, Jon Nethery, Mickey Roark, Mike Nethery and Greg Nethery. All visitation will be Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of services at First Baptist Church in Olla. === Submitted by Kim Wise Source: Riser Funeral Home Date: August 27, 2004 Obituary of Leonard Allen Taylor January 27, 2003 Leonard Allen Taylor was born in Olla, Louisiana on April 12, 1942 to the union of Walter and Jessie Arnold Taylor and died Monday, January 27, 2003 at his residence in Olla. Mr. Taylor was a retired production maintenance man with Penrod Oil Company. He was a veteran of the Veitnam War where he served in the Army and was awarded the Purple Heart and and the Silver Star. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his brothers: Ellis Taylor of Ferriday, Alson Taylor and Ernest Taylor both of Olla and Jimmy Taylor of Grayson, his sisters: Beatrice Netherland Crowville, Mae Esters and Katherine Newsom both of Olla and Elaine Richardson of Grayson and a host of neices and nephews. Funeral services will be private.
