Coda Salter officiating. Burial was in Zion Cemetery at Georgetown under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Mr. Waxley died Tuesday at his residence after a lengthy illness. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Violet Waxley of Tullos; two daughters, Mrs. Jacquelen Hebert of Metairie and Mrs. Sharon Hunsaker of Pineville; one sister, Mrs. Velma Windham of Georgetown and nine grandchildren. Pallbearers were Dan Brown, Charley Wiggins, W.C. Holloway, Michael White, Victor Loflin and Sam Lindsey.
