Mattie C.Whatley

Mattie C. Whatley, 95, of Searcy, died Monday, May 18, 1998, in Heritage Manor
Nursing Home No. 2 in Alexandria.

She was a homemaker.

Services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 20, in the chapel of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Robert McLane officiating.

Interment followed in the Taylor Chapel Cemetery under direction of Hixson
Brothers, Inc. of Jena.

Survivors include a host of nieces and nephews and sixteen foster children.

Pallbearers were Hilton Huff, Larry Bradford, David Sandres Cotton, Truman
Hudnall, Dan Myers, and Stoney Cotton.
