She was a homemaker and member of Temple Baptist Church in Jena. She was born Nov. 19, 1920, at Jena to the union of Timothy and Lorena Griffin Poole. Services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 4, at the Temple Baptist Church in Jena with the Revs. Jimmy Keene and Johnny Phillips officiating. Interment followed in the new Union Baptist Church Cemetery north of Tullos under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include one daughter, Elaine W. Ivy of Alexandria; one son, C. C. Wright, Jr., of Rock Springs, Wyo.; one brother, James "Red" Poole of Jena; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Kevin Wright, Jason Wright, Mickey Ivy, Stacy Ivy, Bob Allbritton, and Elvin Allbritton.
