Woodruff, 61, of Meadville, Mississippi, died at 2:55 a.m., Sunday, September 20, 1998, at Franklin County Memorial Hospital in Meadville. She was a homemaker. Services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 22, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Randall R. Bowling and Darrell Collins officiating. Interment followed in the Forest Lawn Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc., of Jena. Survivors include her, Deborah Smith of McCall Creek, Ms.; her mother, Odell Gray of Natchez, Ms.; her brothers, Jerry Allen of Jena and Terry Allen of Natchez, Ms.; one sister, Zula Vee Coon of Jena; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Craig Bond, Rickey Woodruff, Jimmy Wells, Chuck Woodruff, A. J. Kennedy, and David Brown.
