He was a retired truck driver, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Good Pine Baptist Church. He was born February 27, 1918 at Jonesville to the union of Charlie and Maude Guyon Wilson. Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 8, at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Joel Johnson and Bo Owens officiating. Interment followed in the Belah Cemetery under direction of Kinner and Stevens, Inc. of Jena. Survivors include his wife, Ethel Lea Floyd Wilson of Trout; one daughter, Barbara Wilson of Jena; four sons, Tony Wilson of Reddell, Jerry Wilson of Midway, Bruce Wilson of Jena and Bobby Wilson of Nebo; two sisters, Maxine Todd of Thornton, Co. And Willie Ve Wilson of Loranger; three brothers, Pete Wilson of Eustis, Tx., Louie Wilson of Point, Tx. and Joe Wilson of Weyanoke; and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers were Darryl Floyd, James Deville, George Deville, Terry Sant, Marty Floyd, and Don Wilson. Honorary pallbearers were Melissa Frame, Lee Wilson, Brandon Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, Teresa Wilson, Charlie Wilson, Steve Wilson, Shane Frame and Jennifer Wilson.
