Earnestine Worthington

Earnestine Worthington, 68, of Jena, died Sunday, December 27, 1998 in Dubois
Hospital in Alexandria.

She was a retired assistant manager of the Jena Housing Authority and a member
of the Baptist faith.

Services will be at noon today (Wednesday), December 30, in Mars Hill Baptist
Church with Dr. Dave Mays officiating.

Interment will follow in Webster Cemetrey of Good Pine under direction of
Gayden Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include her husband, Fredrick L. Worthington of Jena; one daughter,
Freddie Worthington Young of Alexandria; two sons, Melvin R. Worthington of
Jena and Artis L. Worthington of Monroe; two brothers, Rev. H. S. Nesby of
Alamogordo, N.M. and Sam T. Nesby of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Vassie
Holland of Alamogordo, N.M., Wilma Bush of Natchitoches and Susa Ellison of
Elmira, N.Y.; and one grandchild.
