Mrs. Mattie Whatley

Mrs. Mattie Whatley, 81, of Nebo, died at 4:00 a.m. Monday February 4, 1985 at
her residence.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Nebo Baptist Church with Rev.
Donald Gentry and Rev. Gary Norris officiating.

Burial followed at the Belah Cemetery of Trout with arrangements by Hixson
Brothers Inc. of Jena.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lena Thompson of Creston; two sons, James
E. Whatley and Archie L. Whatley, both of Nebo; a brother, Davis B. Hailey of
Nebo; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
