Whatley, 65, of Zenoria were held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Lincecum Baptist Church near Georgetown. Officiating at the services were Rev. Jessie Norris and Rev. Victor Mathews. Mr Whatley died December 30th, 1975 at the Hardtner Medical Center in urania. He was a retired employee of the La. Dept. Of Highways and a World War II veteran. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jay Whatley of Zenoria; one son, Clarence Bell of Florence, South Carolina; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Vincent Reeves of Zenoria; four brothers, Maurice Whatley of San Antonio, Texas, hugh F. Whatley of Almagorda, Mexico, Vincent Whatley of Zenoria and Sam B. Whatley of Taunton, Mass.; three sisters, Mrs. Willie McKeever of Zenoria, Mrs. Myrtle Weaver and Mrs. Avid Bodie, both of Pollock and two grandchildren.
