Mrs. Eliza White

Mrs. Eliza White, 98-year-old Jena resident died at the Rapides General
Hospital on Monday, December 28,1961, following as extended illness.

She was a member of the Jena First Baptist Church.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the chapel of Hixson Brothers
Inc. of Jena with Rev. A. L. Norsworthy and Rev. Gary Norris, officiating.

Burial followed at the Roberts Cemetery in Winn Parish with arrangements by
Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena.

Survivors include one daughter, Princle White of Jena; a son, John L. White of
Tulsa, Okla.; a brother, Jack Curry of Jena; five grandchildren and a host of
great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Homer Richardson, Jeddie Ray Hodges, Jimmie King, Lewis
Humphries, Paul Tarpley, and Lawrence Burnum.
