A native of Quitman, she had lived in Lake Charles since 1937. She was a member of Eastwood Pentecostal Church for many years. Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at Eastwood Pentecostal Church with Rev. Murrell Ewing, officiating. Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery at Ragley under direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Survivors are six sons, John D., Shelton L., and Morris K. Weaver, all of Lake Charles, Charles J. Weaver of Sweetlake, Louie E. Weaver of San Bernadino, Calif., and Joe A. Weaver of Bancroft; one daughter, Mrs. B.E. (Shirley) Martin of Ragley; four brothers, Elbert M., Louis D. and E.C. White of Jena, and Lee White of Hawking, Tex.; two sisters, Vergie Ezell of Jena and Clarice Ganey of Trout, 28 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
