White, 78, of Jena, died at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 1990 at the LaSalle Nursing Home of Jena. He was a retired carpenter and member of the East Jena Baptist Church. Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Truman Leach, Terry Ganey, albert Vickers and Lawrence Hailey, officiating. Burial followed at Mars Hill Cemetery of Verda under directionof Jinner and Stevens Inc. of Jena. Survivors include three brothers, Elbert M. White and Ernest C. White, both of Jena and Archie Lee White of Hawkins, Texas; two sisters, Virgie Ezell of Jena and Clarice Ganey of Trout. Pallbearers were Charles Weaver, Ray White, Elbert Lee White, Mike Miles, Terry Ganey and Jimmy Lopez.
