Eugene F. Waits Sr.

Eugene F. Waits Sr., 60, of Jena, died at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 1990, at
his residence in Jena.

He was grounds keeper for LaSalle General Hospital and former Fire Chief for
the Town of Jena.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens
Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. S.B. Spinks, officiating.

Interment followed in the Jena Cemetery under direction of Kinner and Stevens
Inc. of Jena.

Survivors include two sons, Eugene "Bo" Waits Jr. of Jena and Randy Eugene
Waits of Tullos; two daughters, Ila Smith and Patricia Roark, both of Jena; a
brother, Reynold Waits of Many; two sisters, Bertie Stocker of Many and Betty
Hermann of DeRidder; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Terry Adams, Eddie Gaudet, Gary Hermann, Douglas Keene, Glenn
Helton and Wayne Speaks.
