He was a laborer. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8th at Evergreen Baptist Church with the Rev. T.A. Baker, officiating. Burial followed at Webster Cemetery of Jena under direction of Gayden Funeral Home of Jena. He is survived by his wife, Nora T. Williams of Sacramento, Calif.; one son, Anthony Williams; one daughter, Angelia Williams; ten brothers, Henry and Nathaniel Williams of Detroit, Michigan; Huey P. and Clay Williams of Tenhae, Texas; Alex Williams of Shreveport; Roosevelt Howard of Seattle, Washington; Samuel Howard of Florence, Alabama; and Billy Joe Howard of Shreveport; four sisters, Virgie Murphy, Thelma Tyler, and Clara Lou Bishop, all of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and Rose Mae Howard of Shreveport; his ever-loving mother Mrs. Annie Williams of Jena; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
