Mrs. Watson was a housewife and a member of the Baptist church. Funeral services were held Friday at Temple Baptist church with the Rev. K. G. Brooks officiating. Burial was in Pentecost cemetery at Jena with arrangements by Kinner and Stevens funeral home. Survivors include her husband, Walter Watson; one daughter, Mrs. Oscar White of Lake Charles; three sons, Fred L. Watson of Lubbock, Texas, Woodie W. Watson of Jena and Amos R. Watson of Lake Charles; one brother, Hollis Currington of Jena; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Westbrooks of Jena; 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
