James S. Whitaker

James S. Whitaker age 69 years May 28 at 5:50 P.M. of pneumonia at his home on
rt. 1 Pollock, La. Burial took place in Lincum Cemetery near Selma at 3 P.M.
May 29 with Rev. Doughty holding services.

Mr. Whitaker leaves the following to mourn his passing: Mrs. Ida Whitaker wife
of Pollock, Mrs. Essie Creel, Russ, Texas, daughter, Mrs. Lela Moore Dry Prong
daughter, Norman Whitaker Augustas, Texas, son, Mrs. Bertha Vardeman,
Nacogodoches, Texas, daughter, Mrs. Lillie Collins, Rusk, Texas, daughter,
Mrs. Gertrude Otwell, Selma, daughter. Interment took place in Lincum Cemetery
under direction of Riser and Upshaw Funeral Home of Jena.
