P.A. Paul officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodland Cemetery in Jena under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla. Mrs. Wilson was born in Crowville on February 28, 1920 to the union of William A. and Nannie Boyett McVay and died Tuesday, July 23, 2003 at the St. Francis Cabrinia Hospital in Alexandria. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Urania. She was also a member of Urania Chapter #138 Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband: Tonnie "Sunshine" Wilson and her grandson: Randall Clay Wilson. Survivors include her daughter: Tywana W. Conti of Deville, her sons: Wendell L. Wilson of Jena, K.P. Wilson of Summerville and Gary Wilson of Urania, her grandchildren: Kevin Wilson, Leah Wilson, Jeffrey Wilson, Leigh Ann Wilson, Christi Conti and Melissa Conti and her great-grandchildren: Kade Wilson and Kathryn Wilson. Pallbearers will be Tommy Wilson, Curtis Wilson, Darrell Wilson, Steve Tannehill, Les Veerkamp and Benny McVay. Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Wilson and Jeffery Wilson. Any planned memorials may be made to St.Jude's Childrens Hospital or La. Baptist Children's Home. Visitation will from 9 a.m. until time of services at the First Baptist Church, Urania, La. === Submitted by Kim Wise Source: Riser Funeral Home Date: August 27, 2004 Obituary: Roy Welch, Jr. October 1, 2003 Services for Roy Welch, Jr., age 77, of Olla will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, October l, 2003 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Olla with Rev.Denver McBroom officiating. Interment will follow in the Olla Cemetery in Olla with Masonic rites conducted by the Charles F. Buck Lodge #260 of Urania. Services are under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla. Mr. Welch was born in Rochelle on November 18, 1925 to the union of Roy, Sr. and Bertie Baldridge Welch and died Tuesday, September 29, 2003 at the Hardtner Medical Center in Urania. He was a retired bulk plant manager for Wilson Oil Co. in Olla. In the past, he was a driller for Penrod Drilling Co., a Gulf trans- port truck driver and also worked for Henderson Oil Co., He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army in the 1st. Calvary Division, 8th Regime and a member of the Charles F. Buck # 260 Masonic Lodge of Urania. Survivors include his wife of 54 years: Peggy Powell Welch, his daugher: Phyllis Faye Welch, his grandchildren: Cassie Taylor Martin and her husband: Brandon, and Colby James Taylor, his great-grandson: Brandon Slade Martin all of Olla, his sisters: Christine Welch of Monroe and Christella Poisso and her husband: Nat of Tullos and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Donald D.. McKeithen, Jr., Howard A. McCarty, Gary W. Taylor, Paul Waggoner, Mike Wilson and Keith Ray Ruddell. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. K.P. Mauterer, Cleve Vinson, Dr. L. R.
