Source: Alexandria Daily Town Talk, Tuesday, October 22, 1985 Rose Young - Jonesvile, La. - Services for Rose Young will be at 2:00 p.m. today in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. James Busby, Emell Turner and Paul Cain officiating. Burial will be in Harrisonburg Cemetery, Harrisonburg, under direction of Young's Funeral Home. Mrs. Young, 76, of Jonesville died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in Harrisonburg Nursing Home. She was a member of Little River Homemakers Club. Survivors include six daughters, Eva Davis of Middleton, Texas, Velda Berry of Wisner, Willie Jean Edwards and Rose McGowen, both of West Monroe, and Ann Chevallier and Dorothy Evans both of Jonesville; two sons, John W. Young of Jonesville and David "Bud" Young of Gautier, Miss; seven sisters, Myrtle Emsminger of Wisner, Mildred Lott of Trout, Lena Mae Bell of Jena, Rena Butler of Paducah, Ky, Julia Foster of Natchez, Miss, and Lorena Wilson and Estell Barton both of Jonesville; five brothers, Abner McClure of Calcasiu, Clifford McClure of Monterry, Fred McClure of Marion and Juan McClure and Doug McClure both of Jonesville; 27 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends may call after noon today in the church. (Note: Rose Beatrice McClure was the daughter of Joseph Edward McClure and Louise Hudnall, born December 20, 1908, married William Wesley Young March 18, 1929)
