John Thomas Crooks
born Sept. 30, 1834 in Catahoula Parish, La. To the union of Stephen Crooks
and Nancy Ann (Nanette) Huffman Crooks. On March 25, 1857 he married Mary
Felony Paul, daughter of Jean Baptiste Paul and Felicite O'Neal Paul. died
March 30, 1917 in Jena, LaSalle Parish, La. Killed by a railroad train.
Interned at Nolley Memorial United Methodist Cemetery in Jena, La.
