MARRIAGE of Isaac Lanehart Baker to Elizabeth Carter - 14 January, 1841,
Catahoula Parish, LA.

Parish of Catahoula }   Know all men by these presents, that I Samuel P. Stone
one of the acting justices of the Peace for the parish of Catahoula, do
certify that I celebrated a marriage contract between Mr. Isaac L. Baker and
the Miss Elizabeth Carter with the usual Solemnities, common in such cases in
presence of the undersigned witnesses, and which is hereby acknowledged by the
parties to said marriage this the 14th day of January A.D. 1841.

(Elizabeth Carter was the dgt. of Elias Carter and Lucy Duke Stone.  One of
her sisters was Sarah Carter who married  3 times, i.e., Samuel P. Stone, Joel
Kennan and Eli Splawn.   Isaac Lanehart Baker  was the son of  Benjamin Baker
and Rebecca Lanehart of Catahoula Parish, LA)
