                     Dennis Wayne Albritton

Services for Dennis Wayne Albritton, 49, of Bernice, will be held
at 10 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2000, at Pine Grove Baptist Church in
Bernice.  Officiating will be Rev.  Mike Smith.

Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery under the direction of
Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Bernice.

Mr. Albritton died Monday, May 29, 2000, in Ruston after a lengthy
illness.

Mr. Albritton was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church and a
member of the Meadow Lake Country Club. Mr. Albritton was a
motorman for R and B Falcon Drilling Company.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Albritton; sons, Dallas
Albritton and Matt Albritton; grandson, Austin Albritton; brothers,
Paul Albritton and Michael Albritton; sister, Jeanine "Sissy"
Brown, all of Bernice; stepmother, Peggy Albritton; an aunt, Helen
Albritton, both of Ruston; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Lay, Sam Grafton, Richie Brewster, Ben
Stuart, Leroy Nutt, Todd Farley, Lonnie Farley and Tommy Welch.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Kelley, Jeff Brown, Bill Keener,
Danny Abercrombie, Kenny Reynolds and David Doss.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, May 31, at the Kilpatrick Funeral
Home in Bernice from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. There will be an
additional visitation at the Pine Grove Baptist Church on Thursday,
June 1, beginning at 4 p.m. until service time.
