     MRS. L. D. ALLEN, SR.

CHOUDRANT - Mrs. L. D. Allen, Sr., 75, died Tuesday, December 21, 1971.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church
with the Rev. Paul Johnston officiating. Burial will be in the Sibley Cemetery
under the direction of the Spears Funeral Home.

Survivors include one son, L. D. Allen, Jr. of Baton Rouge, four daughters,
Mrs. Laverne Pipes of Carthage, Texas; Mrs. Mildred Martin of Shreveport; Mrs.
Rita White of Downsville; and Mrs. Joy Parnell of Choudrant; two brothers, two
sisters, 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
